Noah and Emma had been wanting a goldfish for awhile now. I had been trying to talk them out of it. Fish die and that can be very traumatic! Noah is especially attached to lots of things and has a hard time "saying good-bye". They each saved their money and begged me to take them to get fish. I reminded them that fish don't always live long. They both understood so off we went to Petsmart. It had been awhile since we had had any fish and I asked the fish guy what we needed(probably where I made my mistake). We had to buy Noah a bowl for his fish. Emma already had a bowl she wanted to use. There was special chemicals we had to buy to add to tap water to make it safe for the fish and special goldfish food. Almost twenty dollars later we left with the fish! Noah and Emma were so excited and talked about what they wanted to name their fish. Emma chose Princess and Noah chose Patrick. They are safely swimming in their bowls in their rooms. Hopefully their fish will make it. Petsmart has a 14day guarantee on fish so at least if we need to replace them we have 2 weeks.
